a. You were given 4 ($50) UESP Gift Certificates for each school. School please fill out the UESP winners sheet and fax in the winners to UESP. Included for each winner is the certificate packet and a goodie packet. Please give to the winner the goodie packet and have the parent come to your school office to pick up the actual certificate packet and sign for it, do not send home with the child the certificate packet. If you have misplaced your Utah Educational Savings Plan Gift Certificate Winners sheet, click here. All certificate sheets must be received by UESP before 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2010. Please make sure you fill out the form completely, including the gift certificate numbers, which can be found on the bottom left of each certificate. If you have any questions about this sheet or your award certificate, please call Christi at 801.321.7153.
2. Faculty & Staff Certificates
a. Back U Up Promise is in your packet
i. Each faculty and staff member who works 30 hours or more is eligible for a certificate of appreciation. Please contact Jennifer at

if you are missing any certificates and she will print and mail them out to you.
ii. For the certificate the printed name or immediate family member can use any of the certificates. You will need to show ID when use the Roadside Assistance, $100 Service Gift Card, and $500 rebate on a new car.
3. District Scorecard –
a. This scorecard was given to your superintendant in January. We wanted to let them know how you were doing on your reading minutes. This scorecard was done in December with December numbers. We will be doing another scorecard in May so make sure your numbers are up to date!
4. Reminders & Information
a. Web minutes – on outside of packet some have reminders if they have not been on the website lately
b. Thank you notes
i. If your classes can write some big Thank You notes to our sponsors that would be wonderful. This program would not be possible without their support. You can get addresses for the sponsors on our website under the sponsor tab.
c. State Farm Posters
i. Each school received a State Poster to hang in their school. Please contact the agent if you need any help in your school. They are there to support you.
5. Magical Assembly with Paul &/or Chief
a. Talk to Jennifer after she has the schedule she can pencil you in now. $250 for the assembly. You have to request Chief to come to the Magical Assembly, or Chief can come by himself. Please email Jennifer your request with the date and time after you have looked on the kengarffroad.com website under the events calendar.
6. Next Meeting will be at 3pm on April 20 at Clearfield April 21 at Murray and April 22 at Mt. View. Please have your principals come if possible we will be signing the contract for the 2010-2011 school year.
7. Ideas
a. Work with classes for a Gold-Bronze-Silver award themed around the Olympics. Each class had mini contests for medals.
b. Book exchange – bring in your old books for points, with collected points students were able to “purchase” books.
c. March Madness – Work with the basketball theme with contests for reading. Winning student (s) received court side seats donated by the Utah Jazz.
d. Teacher reading as well, they have a traveling trophy for the TEACHER.
e. School bought extra bikes for 6th grade size. Fund raiser with PTA. Chick-fil-A does a spirit night where a percentage of the proceeds go to the participating school. Chick-fil-A can also cater an assortment of events.
